What rights do children living with or affected by HIV have?

Apart from the general protections that all protected persons have under the law (including non-discrimination, confidentiality, and grievance redress), children living with or affected by HIV have certain other rights, including to:

  1. Reside in and use a shared household without discrimination
  2. Have their property protected (see how)
  3. Receive government-provided care, support, and treatment, and
  4. Attend school without being denied admission and continuance in school.
