Can I seek abortion if there is a threat to my physical health or mental health?
A pregnant person can seek abortion if continuing the pregnancy will be harmful to their physical or mental health. Up to 20 weeks of gestation, the opinion of one Registered Medical Practitioner (RMP) is required. Between 20 to 24 weeks, the opinion of two RMPs is required. [See: Note 1]
